DIY Rolled Paper Wreath

Every book lovers' best friend!

You'll need:
  • A couple of old books you won't miss, or free ones (this wreath took about 3 books)
  • Hot glue & Elmer's glue
  • Styrofoam wreath
  • String for hook
  • Scissors

Using a pen or pencil, draw a spiral beginning at the center of the page and cut spiral out, using as a marker for 2 or 3 pages.

Roll up spiral, beginning at the center and holding it tight.  Slowly let the spiral loosen until you have your desired shape and size.  Using 2 or 3 pieces of paper in 1 spiral with make bigger roses.  An assortment of sizes makes it easier to piece together as a wreath.  Glue the ends and add a few drops on the inside to keep steady with Elmer's glue.  Glue bottom to a backing of paper or felt.

Arrange roses and hot glue to styrofoam wreath.  Leave the back bare so that it hangs even to wall.  Hold wreath up to wall to mark any areas that you see need covered.

Attach a small piece to twine or string to hang your wreath using hot glue.
