Dining Out

A little over a month ago, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune's wardroom hosted a "Dining Out" where officers and guests were invited to a 5 course dinner and got to drink a nasty alcoholic concoction from the "grog" aka a toilet seat and pay infractions for wearing their dress blue uniforms out of regulations.  Here's some pics from our night.

We wore black dresses with our dress blue jacket

Promotion Day!

On May 11th I picked up rank and I am not a Lieutenant Junior Grade.  And so I change my rank from a little butterball to a shiny silver bar.  My day had some surprise visits from the Commanding Officer, the Director of Nursing, and the chaplains.

Happy Nurses' Week!

It's been a busy month, including finishing my labor & delivery orientation and now working on my own, and knitting baby hats to keep up with my deliveries!  I am determined that every baby born under my care gets a newborn hat from me... so I've been knitting like crazy to keep up.  I'm doing hearts, flowers, and ears now too!
